***ANNOUNCEMENT***

KYPN will be drawing down its Keene Helpers program. Our service will officially end June 1.

To date we have completed over 90 deliveries, with the majority being grocery deliveries. We are proud of our volunteers and the role they’ve played in helping our community during this uncertain time.  When we launched the Keene Helpers program, vulnerable people in our area had few reliable options to meet their essential needs. Online ordering and delivery services were backed up or temporarily shut down due to spikes in demand, and we were able to move quickly to fill a gap.  We are happy to report the situation has changed, and many reliable delivery services are in operation. These service include, but are not limited to:

·     Gomarlo’s Supermarket: 603-352-3409

·     Hannaford-To-Go

·     Instacart (covering ALDI, Market Basket, Price Chopper, Petco, RiteAid, CVS, and Target)

To our clients:

We recognize that just because the Safer At Home order is being lifted doesn’t mean things are back to normal.  There is still risk, and people need to continue to take precautions.  We would strongly encourage you to try using one of the excellent services listed above.  They are easy, secure, and will continue to be functional through the coming months and years.  We would be happy to help you transition by walking you through the process to create an account over the phone.

If you cannot use one of the grocery services listed above, we can refer you to another local service organization who can meet your needs.

  1. The Monadnock RSVP Volunteer Center (see attached for more information)

To our incredible volunteers:

Please reply to this email or contact Maggie if you are interested in continuing to serve your neighbors!  The programs and resources listed above are always looking for more volunteers, and we would love to help you find an organization that’s a good fit.

Be safe, be kind, and take care of each other.

Best,

The KYPN Team

Many have their own staff delivery hot meals, and have online or over-the-phone payment systems set up for ordering.
