Below is a list of positions we are actively recruiting for:

Treasurer

Help guide the financial health of KYPN.

Estimated time commitment:
~2–4 hours per month

The Treasurer monitors the organization’s finances, tracks balances, and provides regular updates to the board on KYPN’s financial standing. This role also helps advise the board on spending decisions and long-term financial planning to ensure the sustainability of our programs and events.

 

Great for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with budgets or numbers

  • Is detail-oriented and organized

  • Wants to support the long-term growth of a local nonprofit
     

Impact:
Your work helps ensure KYPN can continue hosting events and supporting young professionals in the Keene community.

Social Media Lead

Help shape the voice and online presence of KYPN.

Estimated time commitment:
~3–5 hours per month

The Social Media Lead creates and manages content across KYPN’s social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. This includes designing graphics (using tools such as Canva), writing captions, sharing photos from events, and promoting upcoming programs and initiatives.

This role helps maintain a consistent brand voice and keeps the community informed and engaged with KYPN activities.

Great for someone who:

  • Enjoys creating social media content

  • Is active on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn

  • Is comfortable using tools like Canva to design graphics

  • Likes promoting local events and community initiatives
     

Impact:
Your work helps more young professionals discover KYPN and get involved in the community.

Treasurer

Events Chair

Lead the team that brings KYPN events to life.

Estimated time commitment:
~4-6 hours per month

The Events Chair oversees the events committee and coordinates with event leads to plan social, professional, and community events throughout the year. This role helps ensure events run smoothly and align with KYPN’s mission of connecting and engaging young professionals in the Keene area.

Because events are the primary way KYPN brings people together, this role plays a key part in the organization’s success.

  • Is a natural collaborator and team leader

  • Likes bringing people together and building community
     

Impact:

You help create the experiences where young professionals in Keene meet, connect, and build relationships.

Secretary

Help keep KYPN organized and running smoothly behind the scenes.

Estimated time commitment:
~1-3 hours per month

The Secretary helps maintain meeting notes, organizational documents, and key records for the board. This role also manages internal data such as membership information, partnership records, and other organizational documentation to ensure everything stays organized and up to date.

The Secretary works closely with the President and Treasurer to help ensure board meetings and organizational processes run smoothly.

  • Enjoys working with spreadsheets or documentation

  • Likes supporting a team through strong organization

Marketing Chair

Help keep KYPN organized and running smoothly behind the scenes.

Estimated time commitment:
~3-4 hours per month

The Marketing Chair leads KYPN’s marketing efforts and oversees the marketing committee to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communications. This role coordinates marketing materials for events, manages the monthly newsletter, and helps promote KYPN initiatives to the broader community.

Great for someone who:

  • Enjoys marketing, branding, or communications

  • Likes coordinating creative projects or messaging

  • Is comfortable leading a small committee or managing projects

  • Has experience with tools like Canva, newsletters, or design platforms
